What’s Included in your service by ne sweep
When I carry out chimney sweeping, it’s more than just cleaning; it’s a thorough check to ensure your system is safe and efficient. This includes services like stove cleaning and health checks, all part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and reliable system for your home. Here's what I cover during these services:
Blockages: Checking for obstructions like bird nests, debris, or anything restricting airflow.
Soot and Creosote Build-Up: Harmful & corrosive deposits are removed to reduce fire risks and protect your chimney.
Stove Internals: Inspections of components like baffles, seals, and other internal parts to ensure proper function.
Burning Practices: Guidance on using the correct fuels and methods for safe and efficient operation.
Chimney Condition: A visual check from ground level for damage or wear to ensure safety.
Camera Inspections: When necessary, I use a camera to check inside the chimney or liner. These inspections are recorded for future reference.
Finishing Touch: A smoke bomb is used at the end of the sweep to confirm proper chimney draw.
Certificate of Work: A certificate is provided to confirm the completion and details of the work done.
